Winter Weather

Click here for latest information on school closures.

Please make sure we have an up-to-date mobile contact for you in case severe weather means we have to close the school during the day.  We will contact all parents immediately by school text if we need to close the school so that they can collect their children as soon as possible.

Please do not worry if you have problems getting to us immediately:  There will always be staff remaining at school until the last child has been collected.

School Holidays and Term Dates

Click here for Perth and Kinross school information.  We appreciate that our parents try to take their holidays outside term time if at all possible.

Child Protection

Mrs Tyrrell is the Child Protection Officer for the school.

We adhere to Perth and Kinross Inter-Agency Child Protection Policy which can be accessed by clicking here.  Further information for parents can be found here.

We also have our own school policy and have set it out simply on a short leaflet for parents.  You can get a copy of the leaflet from the plastic envelope on the parents' notice board in the school cloakroom.

If issues arise we aim to keep parents as well informed as possible and to work with them.

If You Think Your Child Has Needs Which are Not Being Met

Please let us know.  We have a duty to get it right for every child.  You may hear this principle being referred to by its initials GIRFEC (Getting It Right For Every Child).  Read more here.

Please Let us Know How we are Doing

We welcome feedback, both positive and negative, to help us improve our service to you.

A few words of positive feedback make a real difference and we always appreciate when parents make the effort to comment that they are pleased with something we have done at school.

Equally, if you are unhappy with any aspect of the service we have provided to you or to your child, we need to know so we can try to fix it.  Please telephone to make an appointment to come in and discuss the issue, either with the class teacher or Head Teacher.

Click here to see Perth and Kinross Council complaints procedures which we will follow in the event of any complaint.
